Gracie Wansley was born May 2, 1950, in Montgomery, Alabama to James Wansley Sr. and Marry Ann Wansley. Gracie was the 5th of 9 children.

Gracie accepted Christ at an early age. She was currently a member of Southwood Baptist Church.

Gracie enjoyed shopping, watching TV, cooking and decorating her house.

Grace was called home to be with the Lord, those who preceded her in death were, mother, Marry Ann Wansley, father, James Wansley Sr., brothers: James Wansley Jr., Issac Wansley, Eligin Wansley and Jesse Wansley; and sister, Erma Jean Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Felicia Sardin, sisters: Rose Wansley and Mamie Hill, brother, Tommy Boldin, aunts and uncles: Sandy Hunter, Marry Ellen Hunter, Roosevelt Harris, Carrie Harris all of Montgomery, Alabama, and Maggie Fountain of Pensacola, Florida. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
