Erma was born February 7, 1940, to the parents of Fathie Kelly Robinson and Louis Kelly in Dumas Arkansas. She accepted Christ at an early age.

Erma went to Dental School in 1972. Then went on to become a Customer Service Representative, then later to retire from Aetna and Blue Shield of California. She was blessed and baptized at 88th Street Temple Church of God in Christ. She also served on the Pastor\'s Aide Board.

Erma is survived by her daughter Louella Johnson, son-in-law William Manuel, three sisters: Hattie Jones, Modenia White and LaJune Kelly; nieces: Briggie Kelly, Tanisha Eaves, Yvonne Miller, and Yvette White; nephews: William Eaves Jr., and Timothy White; Aunts: Cloteal Tooke, Paulene Tanner; five grandchildren: David Parks, Malkia Parks, Arthur Garland, Lemar Garland, and Katie Manuel; seven great-grandchildren: Destiny Parks, David Parks II, Diane Parks, Amani Garland, Aaliyah Garland, Azalise Parks, and Devantae Williams; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
