Beulah was born March 15, 1920, the third daughter of her parents Willie Campbell Sr. and Rebecca Campbell in New Orleans, Louisiana. She gave her life to Christ at an early age through Rev. Leonard of the King Solomon Baptist Church of New Orleans.

Beulah was educated through the Orleans Parish School System and became a Louisiana Licensed Beautician.

On July 10, 1939, she united in Holy Matrimony with Evers Wills. Their union produced two sons, Jerome Wills born in New Orleans, and Wade Wills, born after the family moved to Los Angeles.

Beulah enjoyed gardening and sewing and was known by her family, friends, and neighbors, as the lady who refused your offer to ride. She loved walking and taking public transportation everywhere she went. Beulah would pick up any debris as she walked to keep her neighborhood clean. As she got older, neighbors said to her, she was their inspiration to do the same.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Sr. and Rebecca, sisters: Juanita, Gertrude, and Rose; brothers: Willie Jr., and Joseph; and her beloved son Pastor Wade Wills. Beulah departed this life Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the home of her nephew Errol J. Campbell and his wife Sharron and daughter Nia.

Those left to treasure her memory are her son Jerome Wills, sister-in-law Mary Campbell, and her family. She is also survived by nephews and nieces: Errol J. Campbell, Larry Jenkins, Pamela Campbell, Vivian Campbell, Tracy Klain, and their families; her granddaughter Faith Wills and her family will also treasure her memory. Beulah will also be missed by a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors.
