Patricia Ann Edwards was born in Hernando, Mississippi to the union of Allene and Terry Edwards, who preceded her death.

Patricia Ann attended and graduated from Alain LeRoy Locke High School, Class of 1972 in Los Angeles, California; she continued her higher education at Cal State Northridge and graduated with a BA Degree.

Patricia Ann worked at Hathaway Home for Children in the City of Los Angeles for many years, she also worked for Las Padrinos Probation Department in Downey, California where she retired. Patricia Ann joined Greater New Salem Missionary Baptist Church and assisted in service for many years. She enjoyed being around all of her friends at the Board and Care Home in Rialto, CA; she also enjoyed her family members, which she held near and dear to her heart. Patricia Ann had a great sense of humor, she made everybody laugh, she loved telling clean jokes, and she never bit her tongue. Patricia Ann had a generous giving spirit; she didn\'t mind sharing whatever she had. Most importantly, she truly loved being around all of her nephews and nieces whenever she could. Patricia always loved dancing, twerking, and entertaining all those who were around her. Patricia Ann loved eating soul food (fried chicken, greens, and cornbread,) which reminded her of her birthplace in the deep South. The most important thing in Patricia\'s life, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, He gave her another chance to say YES to the LORD.

Patricia Ann leaves to mourn her passing, her siblings: Ms. Thelma Edwards-Jennings, Patrick Martin, Tommie Martin (Izetta Heard \"Peaches\") Herbert Martin, and Micheal Martin; nephews and nieces: Jermaille La Cour, LaMica Martin, Keith Martin, Herbert Martin Jr., Tominique Martin, Ebony Martin, Kierra Martin, Tommie Martin Jr., Mikela Jennings, Special Martin, and Destiny Martin; aunts Mrs. Thelma Biggis of Tulsa, OK, and Mrs. Roberta Pitts of Dallas Texas. She also leaves a host of cousins and friends.
